Take advantage of your education benefit
Many employees and their spouses take advantage of the quieter, more relaxed atmosphere of campus in the summer. Thanks to close interaction with faculty, summer provides many academic opportunities in a comfortable and enjoyable setting. It is an easy 3-step process to get registered. Employees can start the process as early as March 20 for summer courses.
Register for classes
There is a 3-step process to get registered for your summer classes. Information regarding the education benefit and registration process can be found through the Office of the Registrar.
Reasons to take classes in the summer

- Meet students from other institutions
- Meet other adult learners who are taking classes for personal enrichment

Registration Information
Current Notre Dame students register through insideND.
Incoming freshmen Students entering their first year at Notre Dame in the fall must get permission to take summer courses from Assistant Provost for Academic Advising Elly Brenner and then fill out a Summer Session application.
Visiting students register through Summer Session Application.
