Students new to Notre Dame will go through an activation process to obtain their NetID. The activation process involves completing a responsible use policy, entering their ndID number, and entering their date-of-birth. Students will create a password during this process.

Students should go to the Campus Card Office located at 423 Grace Hall to obtain their Notre Dame ID card. A government-issued license or passport and ndID number is required in order to obtain the ID card.
